Our Policies

Your comfort, security and satisfaction with Feather Your Nest are our highest priorities. We employ many techniques and processes to achieve these objectives.


Privacy and Security

All information and data that is received by Feather Your Nest is encrypted using 128 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology to provide a high level of security to protect the data that you submit on our website. Beyond this encryption, we have purchase a personal site evaluation, which is evidenced by the encryption symbol that you see on every page of our website. All information that you submit will be treated confidentially. We value your business and respect your right to the privacy of your data. When you register on our website, you give us your consent to process and use your personal information in accordance with our policies.


Personal Information

As you set up your account or make a purchase at Feather Your Nest, we collect and gather information, to include the following: name, billing address, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address, credit card account number and purchasing history.

We use this personal information to process your order on our website and monitor the usage patterns of our website visitors. We will not share your information with any others unless: 1) required by law; 2) trying to prevent or protect against actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; or 3) investigating potential fraudulent transactions. We never sell or distribute your personal information in any manner not disclosed in this policy.


Our Contact with You

Upon placing an order with Feather Your Nest, most contact will be by email. We will contact you by phone, only if necessary to process your order. By registering on our website, you are giving us your permission to include you in our distribution of announcements and communications.


Payment Methods

Our shopping cart accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover for US deliveries. International orders must be prepaid, usually via wire transfers. If you wish to purchase in the US by personal check or place an International order, please call toll free (877/855-3555) to make appropriate arrangements.


Shipping and Delivery

We attempt to fulfill all orders within two business days. Feather Your Nest uses UPS and USPS for substantially all of our shipping. Upon checkout, you will see the options that are available to you. If you would like to expedite, please select the option that best fits your needs. Our shipping charges will be calculated at that time and added to your order. Our policy is to ship complete. We will be happy to ship your order as ready; however, shipping charges will apply to each shipment.

Please note that shipping charges are based on the regular price of the items and not the sale price. Shipping charges may need to be adjusted for orders containing sales items.

Rush delivery is available for an additional $25 over the normal delivery rates. Orders placed before 1:00 CST Monday thru Thursday, will be received in 2 business days. Orders received on Friday thru Sunday, will not ship until Monday. Rush service is not available on furniture, certain over sized items and items shipping directly from the manufacturer.

If overnight or Saturday delivery is needed, please contact us at 877/855-3555 or by email at info@featheryournesthome.com. We will advise you as to whether the item is available for overnight delivery and calculate shipping cost for you.

Additional delivery charges will apply to all shipments outside of the contiguous United States, and to furniture and over sized items. These charges are done on an individual case basis, depending on the shipping weight and the country to which the package is being shipped. Upon receipt of your order for such items, we will email you the shipping cost.


Out of Stock

Feather Your Nest keeps an extensive inventory of merchandise on hand at all times. However, we acknowledge that there will be times when we are out of stock in particular items. When this occurs, you will be notified of an approximate delivery date.


Merchandise Returns & Refunds

At Feather Your Nest, we try to understand and respond to the needs of our customers, both in-store and on-line. We appreciate that circumstances may occur which necessitate the return of merchandise. We will refund customers for regularly stocked merchandise in accordance with the following policy. Unfortunately, for sanitary reasons, we can not accept the return of down products, pillows and mattress pads.

Merchandise must be returned within 10 days of merchandise shipment to you, in new condition, with a copy of your sales receipt, original packaging and clear indication that it has not been used or laundered. We will promptly inspect the merchandise. Any merchandise that shows signs of usage will be returned to the purchaser without refund. If you would like to return or exchange an item, please contact us by phone at 877/855-3555 or by email at info@featheryournesthome.com, stating the reason for your return. We will then issue a return authorization number, which must be written on the outside of your return package.

If an item is returned that qualified for free shipping, the refund will be for the item cost minus the standard shipping cost. Standard shipping costs are outlined in the shipping section.

International shipments are not returnable. Also, we will not accept the return of custom orders or cut fabrics. Custom orders include anything that we do not regularly stock, as well as any items that are monogrammed, specially treated or otherwise altered or customized.

To cover collection fees and handling costs, we charge a 10% restocking fee on all returned merchandise. Also, we are unable to refund shipping and gift-wrapping costs, since these costs cannot be recovered. The balance will be paid to you in the manner in which you initially paid for the items. Gift returns will receive store credit or gift cards.

We always accept the return of defective merchandise. Upon our receipt of such items, we will inspect them to determine the issue(s) involved, and occasionally we will return them to the manufacturer to get their more formal inspection and analyses. If we determine that the merchandise is defective, we will send you another item, give you a full refund in the manner in which you initially paid for the item, or full store credit for your purchase, whichever you desire.

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We hope you will be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, within the policies explained above, should you request, we will gladly process your refund.


Sales Tax

All deliveries within the state of Texas will be charged in accordance with our local tax rate, currently 8.25%. Deliveries outside of Texas will be tax exempt.


Pricing

We continually add content to our website and review the data contained herein. If an error is made regarding pricing, product description or availability, we reserve the right to correct any errors and make updates as necessary without prior notice. For pricing changes affecting orders in process, each customer will be notified of the changes and have the option to place or cancel the order.
